1st generation · 1972

Our grandmother at Gökbakan Triko

In 1972 our grandmother was head of the washing department at Gökbakan Triko. Our family's knitwear story began there, and so did the way we look at quality.

Our father's and uncles' workshop

Years of knitwear experience and a working life spent at the machines. Our quality culture was shaped by their craftsmanship.

3rd generation · Today

Onur Aslan and the next generation

1

Design

From your tech pack, sketch or reference garment we set the knit structure and gauge, then knit the sample.

2

Knitting

The approved sample moves to the machines with the chosen yarn and gauge. Every panel is knitted to the same measure.

Shipping

After folding, labelling and packing, your order leaves on the date we promised.

One question at every step: would this stitch pass our grandmother's hands?

Let's knit your sample together.

Pick a gauge (gg), tell us the yarn and the product. Our third-generation management will reply to you directly.

7 gg

Gauge (gg) is how dense the knit is: lower numbers knit chunkier, higher numbers finer. We run 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14 and 16 gg machines. Move it and the swatch is knitted again.

Frequently asked

What is your minimum order quantity?

It depends on the style, the yarn and the knit structure. We work from boutique collections to large runs. Add your estimated quantity in the form and we will reply with a clear number.

Do you make samples?

Yes. We knit samples from your tech pack, sketch or reference garment, and start production after your approval.

How is the delivery date set?

It is planned around quantity, style and yarn supply, and confirmed in writing with the order. Delivering on the date we promise is the basis of how we work.

Do you work with brands outside Türkiye?

Yes. We work with brands in Türkiye and abroad, and we correspond in English and Turkish.

What does gauge mean?

Gauge (gg) is the number of needles per inch on a knitting machine. 3gg gives a chunky winter knit; 12 to 16gg is for fine, refined knits. We run 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14 and 16gg machines.
